Sometimes the input method status window overlapps with client window. For example,

1. Open CharView
2. Change buttons to textfields
3. Click on a text field
4. Shift+Space to enable input method, at this point, the status window is displayed at the correct position, i.e., bottom left of the frame.
5. Input something
6. Click on another text field. composition ends
7. Shift+Space again, then the status window is displayed within the CharView window.
