Steps to reproduce:
1.On mercury10,jre1.4.2_02-b03,mozilla1.4(2003/09/28).
2.Launch mozilla1.4 and set proxy's HTTP,SSL,FTP are webcache.prc.sun.com ,port 8080, and access http://sunreserve.prc.sun.com/
3.Input SunID, from waing for a long time , the applet can't finish loading.
