build: /net/jano.sfbay/export/disk12/i18n/NightlyBuilds/archives/2003-10-17.tiger
platform: Mercury
Locale: ja and zh_TW
To reproduce:
Run CharView on Mercury machine with the PIT build, notice that, for size 8,9,10,18,28 and up, all the glyphs displayed all right, but in sise 12,14,16,20, and 24, only partial set of glyphs displayed.
Although comparing with other Linux platforms, this is much better, still, if glyphs are available for certain sizes, jdk should be able to render them in any sizes.
This shouldn't hold back the integration, but need to be fixed soon.
###@###.### 2003-10-20
This only happens in PIT, but in promotion build b24, all sizes
displayed the same set of glyphs as in 12,14,16,20,24, i.e., not every glyphs showed. The PIT build actually made it better than promotion build b24.
Forgot to mention, the glyphs range mentioned are from 4e00.
