VM crashes when running recently rebuilt code

      Forgive the second-guessing Synopsis.
      The symptoms are that I see are that the VM crashes in JITted code (here
      Function=java.util.zip.ZipFile.getSize(J)I (compiled Java code)
      ) if I run my application (shortly ?) after having "rebuilt" it.

      Actual java version: 1.4.2-b28
