[Mercury] Java Applet Window missing letter

      Reproduce steps:
      1.On Mercury12, mozilla1.4(2003/11/03),jre1.4.2_02-b03, locale english.
      2.Open mozilla, visiting http://loot.central.sun.com:8080/
      3.Input Employee Number and Passward, enter "Apply"
      4.On the pop up java applet window, missing letter "P" in word "Please".
      5.On Solaris9, mozilla1.4(2003/11/12),it is abnormal,too.
      6.On winNT, it displays fine.
