Java2Demo main window not centered after launch on Linux RH9.

When Java2Demo is launched, the initialization (progress-bar) dialog will be centered, but when the main application window is presented on the screen, it will not be centered. The main window is positioned in lower right of screen.

- This bug is introduced with 1.5.0-beta-b30 and seems specific to RH8/RH9.

Steps to reproduce
==================
1) Launch Java2Demo with 1.5.0-beta-b30 on RH8 or RH9
2) After the progress bar dialog box completes, notice that the main application window is not centered, but positioned to lower right of the screen.
