Problem Description : The Support informations displayed entry in Add-Remove Programs entry for J2RE/J2SDK displays incorrect link for README
Tested_Java_Release : 1.5.0
Tested_Build : j2sdk*.exe
Tested_Build_Location : Promoted build 32
Tested_Machine_OS : Windows XP Prof
(will display same problem on other flavours of windows)
Tested_Machine_OS : sniperpc.india.sun.com
Steps to Reproduce
------------------
1) Install the 1.5.0 J2RE installable build
2) Instal J2SDK 1.5.0 build
3) Invoke Start->Control Panel->Add Remove Programs
4) Select JRE entry
5) Click on "Support information" link
NOTE Version entry It indicates 150.000 (probable bug or could be a place holder for update releases )
6) Click on the README.txt link. The README.txt is displayed
7) close the poup dialog
8) Choose J2SDK entry
9) Click on "Support information" link
NOTE Version entry. It indicates 1.5.0
10) Click on the README link. The README.txt is not displayed because in that
particular dir on a README.html is available not a .txt file.
Summary
--------
1) for JRE the version is 150.000 (not sure if this is a bug)
2) in J2SDK the README.txt should be changed to .html and the link updated to
http://.... or copy README.txt to j2sdk installed dir.
