This problem was detected with JTextfield,JtextArea,Jtable etc and also with demo files under j2sdk like Jtable demo in SwingSet2 & Stlypad under <j2sdk home>/demo/jfc/.

Example with Hindi locale: If you take any of these mentioned components and enter '6m' it forms one hindi glyph. But while moving the cursor over this glyph it needs two moves with either towards left/right positions instead of one move.

This is also been reproduced with j2sdk1.4.2 release.
