      FULL PRODUCT VERSION :
      java version "1.5.0-beta"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0-beta-b32c)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0-beta-b32c, mixed mode)

      ADDITIONAL OS VERSION INFORMATION :
      Windows (any)

A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
When you run a Web Start program that requests desktop integration, you are presented with the following dialog:

"Desktop Integration provides a quick and easy way to access your application.

Would you like to have "<Name>" integrated into your desktop environment?"

The standard response, which I have received from *every single person* to whom I have shown this dialog, is "What the hell does that mean?" I don't remember the wording of the equivalent dialog in previous versions of Web Start, but they never received that reaction.

This dialog is so badly worded that it is making me very nervous about trying to deploy Web Start programs to the masses. When running on Windows, I would suggest something more along the lines of:

"Would you like to create desktop and Start Menu icons for <name>?"

Everybody would understand that, with no need to use the intimidating term "Desktop Integration". It's also shorter and more to the point. Yes, it would mean having a few variations of the message (depending on OS and desired icon location) but it's infinitely more understandable and, in our opinion, worth the change.

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Run any Java Web Start program which requests desktop integration.

      REPRODUCIBILITY :
