In the Proposed Final Draft for enums (JSR-201) the phrase "primordial enum class" is no longer used. It will be eliminated from the JavaDoc for java.lang.Enum. For consistency (and good taste) the term "primordial" should also be eliminated from the javadoc for java.lang.annotation.Annotation.
