OS - Solaris Sparc, Solaris x86, Mercury
build - tiger beta2 b-41 installed from -
/net/koori.sfbay/p/jdk07/jdk/1.5.0/beta2/b41/bundles
Steps to reproduce -
Make sure that if you are trying the test case on Solaris Sparc/x86, you have gnome desktop.
1) Invoke the Java Control Panel for tiger b41 or b42.
2) Go to the "Advanced" tab
3) Click on any of the Settings.
4) Arrows/lines are displayed along with the different options under each Setting.
This is very unpleasant and was introduced from b41.
With b40 and before, these lines/arrows were not displayed.
Also, ths problem is not there on windows/ Linux Redhat 9.0/ CDE on Solaris Sparc
