Reproduce Steps:
1. On Solaris x86 8/9, mozilla-b17c(2004/03/12), jre1.4.2_02-b03
2. Visiting http://baseman.prc/jdk-applet-demo/1.4.2/demos/applets/NervousText/example1.html.
3. The applet blinks so quickly that I can't recognize it. It's behavior is different from what it is on other platform.
