Some controls (dropdown combo and "Advanced parameters" buttons) are render rendered improperly in some european locales - de, fr, it.
It looks like the rendering depends on resources length.

Found with promoted J2RE 1.5.0 b42 on windows xp.

Steps to reproduce:
Install J2RE 1.5.0 b42 on selected locale.
From os control panel bring up the Java Control Panel.
Switch to the Update tab.
