      Tested Build: j2re1.5-b44
             Platform: generic

      Steps to reproduce:

      1) Launch the b44 Java control panel
      2) From "General" tab, clicking on "Settings..." to get to Temporary Files Settings window.

There are two problems with the " Jar compression" UI bar:

      A) If you click at the tick spacing where the indicator is currently pointed to, then the indicator moves forward one tick spacing.
The correct behavior should have been that the indicator would remain at the same position instead of advancing forward.
This problem occurs on all the platforms

      B) On windows/ solaris sparc (CDE)/ x86(CDE), there is no number (from 0 to 9) displayed on the top of the tick spacing bar.

On solaris sparc(Gnome/ x86(Gnome)/ Sun desktop-cinnabar(Gnome) the number is displayed which is expected.
