After taking feedback from initial apt users, it has become clear that it would at times be convenient to bypass the default discovery mechanism and just tell apt what factory to use. This would also allow a sophisticated user to implement their own discovery policy since all the needed information is available from the AnnotationProcessorEnvironment and the list of annotations passed to an AnnotationProcessorFactory.
