Steps to reproduce:

1. Install Windows XP SP2 evaluation copy
2. Install the latest j2re1.5.0 beta2 build
3. Try and view an applet tag with IE
4. IE will show it's red X and the plugin will fail to load.

I also noticed that the vm is running, and the java system tray icon is showing. However, the applet does not load properly.
