We have seen an intermittent problem in PIT with some machines (2 intel only so far ) hanging during jumpstart install at the point of adding the SUNwj5dmo package.Currently we are seeing this in s10_56.If we control C at this point the install completes as normal .Looking at the install logs we see error messages similar to those mentioned 4990252.
If the same machine is installed through a standard interactive install then
the problem does not happen and the install completes as normal.I managed to get the problem to consistently happen on a machine zippo.ireland i.e. jumpstart install hangs but standard interactive ok but another system boredom.ireland is showing the problem very intermittently in that about 1 in 10 jumpstart installs will hang.
Logging this high priority bug to get someone to look at it quickly for us as it seems there may be a problem with that package.
We are still gathering information on this problem and so far we have only seen it on s10_56 .We can offer access to an affected machine if required.
