Steps to reproduce

1) Install jdk/jre and register the plugin with the browser.
2) Invoke the default progress bar test (test case 3) from the following location :
http://sqeweb/deployment1/mantis_ws_plugin/doc/proc/JPI_splashscreen.html

3) The progress bar should be seen while the applet loads.

4) Exit the browser, clear the cache, and execute any of the splashscreen tests from the above location. Cancel the test (go back in the browser before the applet gets loaded). Now try to invoke the progress bar tests (test case 3), the progress bar is not shown. Only the boundary will be seen.

Note - The progress bar should be visible whenever applet download is in progress.
