Currently, AppServer team has to resort to the KeyStore api for generation and import of Secret Keys into JCEKS keystores.
Since keytool already handles the generation and import of keys for certain key types, it seems reasonable to enhance the keytool to handle additional key types
including SecretKeys for key generation and import.

More things could be done including: importing private keys, and merge keystores which are of different format, etc. It's probably time to revisit keytool and enhance it with functionalities which would help managing keys in different keystores.
