A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
It would be a great feature for the JWS to retrieve authentication from the browser'sauthentication cache. A setting in the "Java Web Start Application Manager" could allow selection of a default browser and whether to retrieve authentication cache.
Related to SUN Cases: 4656979 and 4518282.
JUSTIFICATION :
This would make JWS more flexible.
EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
Allow JWS to skip a double authentication when using basic authentication.
