A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
Our application uses JavaWebStart to download the 200MB website contents.First time we are providing the whole static contents including the downloaded jar files in the form of CD.For the second time onwards the client will try to download the latest updates..So this time the incremental update has to happen ....JavaWebStart compares the version available in the client and server and does the jardiff operation and patches only the modified files...
But the problem here is , every time when the incremental download happens its taking enormous amount of time to patch the jar files as the size is very large (200 MB).

Is there a way to make the incremental updates more faster...
or we need to customize the application...

      JUSTIFICATION :
The client will be using a Dialup Connection to run this application...this again will delay the process..

Mainly to reduce the time taken to download the jar files
