ADDITIONAL OS VERSION INFORMATION :
Microsoft Windows 2000 [version 5.00.2195]

A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
In font.properties.zh_TW, I found monospaced plain font is 細明體. but monospaced bold font is 新細明體.
Why they are different?
I use MicroSoft Word2000 to test two fonts. I type W and I char, and I change font to 細明體. I can see W and I have the same width. But I change font to 新細明體, I see W and I have not the same width.
I don't think 新細明體 is real monospaced font.

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
1. open font.properties.zh_TW
2. search "monospaced.plain.0"
then you can see
monospaced.plain.0=細明體,CHINESEBIG5_CHARSET
and
monospaced.bold.0=新細明體,CHINESEBIG_CHARSET

REPRODUCIBILITY :
