java -client -Xshare:dump command crashes on linux and solaris

      JRE isntallation on Linux crashes while running class sharing cmd
      with B55 deploy bundles from
      /net/altair.east/terra/space13/deployment/tiger-archives/2004-05-31.20_27/linux-i586.(log file attached). Reproduced on asparagus.east.sun.com &
      deploy-linux32.east.sun.com consistently.

      /usr/java/jre1.5.0/bin/java -client -Xshare:dump >/dev/null 2>&1

      Can also reproduce it after installation of deploy's B55 build by running:

      /usr/java/jre1.5.0/bin/java -client -Xshare:dump

      got the error:
