A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
When the menu is navigates using the left/right arrows keys of the keyboard, the first menu item of the selected menu (in the menubar) should be highlighted. This happens normally in Microsoft Windows menus.


JUSTIFICATION :
This makes it easy to navigate through the menu items of each menu. Currently the user needs to press the down-arrow two times to get to the first menu item.


EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
When a menu is navigated from keyboard using left/right arrow keys, the first menu item must be highlighted.

ACTUAL -
Currently the first menu item is highlighted only when the menu is activate from the keyboard for the first time (say with Alt+A). Subsequent visits to the same menu using keyboard left/right arrows keys does not highlight the first menu item.
