Steps to reproduce:
1. Cinnabar11 sparc,j2sdk1.5.0-beta2-b51a, English locale,
2. on terminal, type appletviewer http://www.sun.com
3. can't launch and thrown the exception as : "I/O exception while reading http://www.sun.com"

I set proxy by Java console panel with webcache.prc.sun.com or others,it can't work.
This bug can be reproduceable by j2sdk1.4.2 and other Tiger builds.
