FULL PRODUCT VERSION :
java version "1.5.0-beta2"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0-beta2-b51)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0-beta2-b51, mixed mode, sharing)
A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Working with Java 1.5, trying to learn the new features and knowing what's a bug and what's a feature could be much easier when a new Java Language Specification covering the new features (metadata, enhanced for loops, static imports, annotation declarations, enums, generics, assertions (already 1.4) and variable argument lists) was available.
I request that a new Java Language Specification will be released as soon as possible. Even if it contains errors and is not a final, normative version, but just a draft, it would help much.
REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.
