System Config.:
Tiger Build 58 for SWAT test, SLES 8 (AMD), Systems: (alisan, opteron002, opteron005), JDK for 32bits and 64bits.
Symptom:
Tiger Build 58 was installed on a clean SLES 8 (AMD) system.
After issuing the following command, notice Java2D demo is not started on
"Run" window (meaning: it didn't change the "Run" in green color to "Stop" in
red color). The Java2D demo window always had the run on the same tab.
java -jar Java2Demo.jar -runs=10
Steps to reproduce:
1) install b58 bundle on SLES 8 (AMD) system
2) cd /usr/java/jdk1.5.0/demo/jfc/Java2D and invoke "java -jar Java2Demo.jar -runs=10"
This only happened on SLES 8 (AMD) system. It was running fine on
Solaris (sparc+x86), Windows 2003.
Additional info.:
After manually click on the "Run" to start the run once, then this problem
goes away. It only happens after the JDK is newlly installed and you never
click on "Run" to make it runs manually.
