      FULL PRODUCT VERSION :
      java version "1.4.2_01"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_01-b06)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_01-b06, mixed mode)

      ADDITIONAL OS VERSION INFORMATION :
      Microsoft Windows 2000 [Version 5.00.2195]

A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
In the JavaDoc, other documentation and the Swing Tutorial "view" is used to mean 2 different things. Sometimes when view is used it is talking about the Scrollable Client, other times when it is used it is talking about the Visible Area within the Scrollable Client. Due to this things contradict each other all over the place and without looking into what methods are actually doing it is near impossible to work out if by view they mean the Scrollable Client or if they mean the Visible Area within the Scrollable Client. Whichever way view should be defined it means the other methods are not doing what the spec says.

      REPRODUCIBILITY :
