In GTK L&F, changing the GNOME Application Font does not change the font rendered in an JOptionPane although the parent frame's font changes. This happens when the OptionPane is displayed and the font is changed. If the displayed option pane is closed and reopened, the OptionPane is rendered in the new font. This occurs with Solaris / Linux with tiger b49 onwards.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch SwingSet2 demo
2. Switch to GTK L&F
3. Select JOptionPane demo and show one of the message dialogs.
4. Change the font - it can be seen that the OptionPane font does not change.
5. Close the message dialog and reopen it - now the font changes are getting reflected.
