A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
In DocumentBuilderFactory and TransformerFactory both have a method newInstance() which throw FactoryConfigurationError and TransformerFactoryConfigurationError respectively.
 
To be consistent I think DatatypeFactory method newInstance() should throw a DatatypeConfigurationError rather than a DatatypeConfigurationException.
