The print output from SQE PrintDoc suite is not formatted properly. The test suite prints out a sample letter complete with image logo, header, and text body.
The text body contains sample paragraphs. The problem is that for each paragraph the last line appears as "bold text" on the print output when it should appear as regular (non-bold) looking text.
- The bug is easily reproducible on Linux platform (RH AS 3.0 and JDS Cinnabar-Linux).
- Preliminary analysis from developers also indicate that the bug exists on Solaris as well (it's just that Solaris printers mask the bug when printing)
- The bug is reproducible with current Tiger build 1.5.0-rc-b63 and previous builds as far back as B36 (and earlier)
- PrintDoc Suite is attached
Steps to reproduce:
==================
1) Compile the test suite
2) Launch with:
$JAVA_HOME/bin/java -cp .:data PrintDoc
3) The suite will bring up a frame with a formatted letter. at the bottom of the frame are controls for printing and changing fonts.
4) Select Native Dialog radio button and click Print
5) Examine the print output and observe the formatted output does not match the letter (last line of each paragraph is bold looking font)
