Currently if user is:
--> Behind Authenticated proxy
--> Using system without MSI installed
--> Using Windows 2003
Than a dialog box comes which clearly shows progress bar of
download and time remaining to download.
For other users there should be some way that installer informs them
of time pending, this helps alot and most of the iftw installers shows
it.
In its absense user can think whether it is hanged or something because
he will not see anything happening, specially over slow connection, i.e
most of the cases.

Above applies for both jdk and jre iftw installers
