A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
As discussed here http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=31&thread=327210 it is quite commonplace to have modal dialog boxes without a minimize or maximize button but this doesn't seem to be possible under Java. Please add API functions for this functionality.

JUSTIFICATION :
Modal dialogs without any buttons are commonplace under Windows but cannot be implemented under Java.
