Package: J2RE
Version: 1.3.1_13-b03
Locale: fr_FR.UTF8
Description: AWT Print dialog is broken
The awttest test case displays two windows when you try Print dialog.
Both are too small - 1x1 pixel. Only one window can be resized. The
window has title 'Test frame' and it's empty. See attachment.
I used GNOME as window manager.
Java prints the error on terminal during awttest start: 'Font specified in font.properties not found [--symbol-medium-r-normal--*-%d-*-*-p-*-adobe-fontspecific]'
Bundle tested:
j2re-1_3_1_13-linux-i586.rpm.bin
Platform: RedHat AS 3.0
'uname -a': Linux lundegaard 2.4.21-4.EL #1 Fri Oct 3 18:13:58 EDT 2003 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Test Suite(s): awttest
Reproduce Step(s):
- `sh j2re-1_3_1_13-linux-i586.rpm.bin`
- `rpm -i jre-1.3.1_13.i586.rpm`
- `export PATH=/usr/java/jre1.3.1_13/bin:$PATH`
- `tar xvf awt.tar`
- `cd awt/classes`
- `java awttest -command abc`
- open Print dialog
Reproducible in other build(s)?
- 1.3.1_12: yes
- 1.4.2_06: no, the test works fine and displays localized dialog
