I'm starting the same applet (demo/applets/Blink) on solaris-sparc
with Motif and XAWT toolkits, and the background color in these applets
is different:
Motif's applet is LightYellow, as specified in my .Xdefaults:
*background: LightYellow

But XAWT's one comes up with Gray background.

This is on S9u4, fully patched, running WindowMaker window manager
(which may be the culprit).
1.4.2 and 1.3.1 come up lightyellow as well.

This happens at least all the way back to 1.5 beta2, I haven't
regressed it further.
