      FULL PRODUCT VERSION :
      tiger-rc
      build 1.5.0-rc-b63

      ADDITIONAL OS VERSION INFORMATION :
      Windows XP SP1

A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
After installing the 1.5.0 JDK, which required uninstalling a previous version of 1.5.0. I found that Web Start was no longer aware of any applications.

If this happened as a result of uninstalling the previous version, perhaps at least the JNLP URLs should be saved even when Web Start is uninstalled, Users may be unaware that they are getting rid of much more than the Java install and all downloaded Web Start applications will be lost as well. Specially in my case where I was merely uninstalling to upgrade the JDK.

STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
      uninstall 1.5.0-beta3 b60, install tiger-rc.

      EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
      EXPECTED -
New Web Start would be aware of the applications I had previously downloaded.
      ACTUAL -
Starting the web start application manager showed no known applications.

      REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.
