Browser - Default browser (MZ1.7)
Steps to reproduce
-------------------
1) Install jdk/jre 1.5.0 b-63
The bundles are located in the following location :
/net/koori.sfbay/a/v04/jdk/1.5.0/rc/bundles/*
2) Register Plugin with default mozilla (MZ1.7) under
/usr/sfw/lib/mozilla
3) Copy trusted.clientcerts into $HOME/.java/deployment/security
trusted.clientcerts can be found under
/net/sqe/global/nfs/deployment1/deployment_tiger_int_ws/deployment/share/lib
password for trusted.clientcerts - changeit
4) Open the browser and make sure that plugin is registered. Import the personal certificate client.p12 into the browser.
client.p12 can be found under
/net/sqe/global/nfs/deployment1/deployment_tiger_int_ws/deployment/share/lib
The password for this certificate is -1234
5) Close the browser, and reopen it.
6) Invoke the https client authentication tests from the following url
https://client20.india.sun.com:8443/~sc144430/TestApplet.html
7) The security warning windows comes up - click OK
8) The domain name mismatch warning window comes up - click OK
9) Software Security Device password window comes - enter the password that you chose while importing the personal certificate client.p12 into the browser
10) Java security warning window comes up, chose "Yes"
11) Client Authentication Password window comes up - enter the password for trusted.clientcerts which is "changeit"
12) The applet should load
13) Close the browser, and invoke the test url again and go through steps 6 through 11 again.
14) Once the Client Authentication Password window comes up, there is no way to enter the password. The cursor can not be seen in the password field even after clicking on the window or minimizing/maximizing tbe window.
This problem is not there in Solaris x86 5.9/Gnome with the same browser MZ1.7
Also tested AMD SLES9/MZ1.7, and the problem was not seen.
