As per 10/05/04 J2SE update pteam meeting decision, fix for 5106516 needs to be backed out.

Because of the way the build system was designed and the way JDK_UPDATE_VERSION is used, the fix for bug 5106516 is not complete. At least 3 different makefiles need to define JDK_UPDATE_VERSION to make it work. That means for very update release, someone will have to change JDK_UPDATE_VERSION defitions in all 3 makefiles. This makes it difficult to maintain.

This has been discussed in 10/05/2004 j2se update pteam meeting, and the team agreed that we should back out the fix for 5.0 update 1.

Also I have discussed this issue with Dave and Vijayan. Dave agreed that I back out this fix in update 1, but pointed out that we still need to investigate it for update 2.
