Steps to Reproduce:

The following demo applets (located at $jdk1.5.0/demo/plugin/jfc/) from JDK5.0 bundle when launched using appletviewer, invokes 2 instances of the applet:
* Font2DTest
* Java2D
* SwingApplet
* SwingSet2

This is also seen with JDK1.5.0_01 b03

Expected Behavior:

Single instance of the applet is to be launched

Actual Behavior:
----------------
2 instances of the applet gets launched
