A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
A JNLP API should be added to allow a JNLP application to add and remove shortcuts to and from the desktop and Start Menu.
JUSTIFICATION :
JNLP files now allow an application to specify shortcut locations in the Start Menu and on the desktop, but there is no way to modify these things programmatically.
