Bigapps crash on RHEL 3.0u1/u3 with 1.3.1_14

      Running bigapps on RHEL (AS) u1 causes a hotspot error.

       command used : ./runvmark.ksh -server

      I've seen 2 crashes occur including re-runs.

      One occured a few minutes into execution :

      180 connections so far.
      Creating room number 10 ...
      200 connections so far.
      Java heap: 899 KB in use, 3164 KB available (28% in use).
      Running the test ...

      The other crash happened about 2 1/2 hours after kicking off tests. :

      160 connections so far.

      This CR is NOT reproducible on RHEL3U3 using 1.3.1_19. Kernel version 2.4 and 2.4.1 both tested and no issues occurred.
