A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
Java Web Start applications should be able to specify the file association actions that they provide, including whether the application supports printing the document (which JWS currently wrongly assumes). The application should be able to specify (probably in its JNLP file) what actions are supported, and which is the "default" (currently JWS forces "open" to be the default).

      JUSTIFICATION :
It would be convenient for an image editing application to add an "Edit" item to the context menu for a file type, and for "View" to be the default action on the file, for example.

Additionally, many JWS applications do not support printing, but JWS 5.0 adds a "print" item to every JWS-created file association menu. Applications need to be able to change these menu items, so as not to confuse users (users will think a document can be printed, but it can't, and the JWS application will need to pop up a dialog box saying "printing is not supported," which is highly unintuitive).
