A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
Removing some applications using the Change/Remove button appears to do nothing. The entry remains in Add/Remove Programs and nothing seems to change.
An example application with this behavior is http://rpischeduler.com/beta/run/rpischeduler-broken.jnlp . Other applications can successfully be removed, such as the application at http://kano.net/flashygrid/ .
REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.
