There is a large number of compiler warnings when building CMM native code
on Solaris, and possibly other platforms. These warnings appear to be mostly
harmless, but the offending code should be cleaned up so we can get rid of
these warnings. Most of the warnings come from crc32.c, but some are from
other CMM source files as well.
