regression: JMenuItem icons overimposed on JMenuItem labels under Metal LAF

      Bug Describtion

      JMenuItems that display both icons and text display the icons overimposed over the text. This behavior happens only under Metal LAF. Under Motif and GTK+ icons are correctly placed to the left of the JMenuitem text. The test case that demonestrate this behvaior is invcluded
      in the GS 1.5-b08 distribution for Bidi testing:
      i18n_tiger_ws/i18n/src/GS/component-orientation/JMenuItemTest.java

      To reproduce the bug:
      Choose any testing platform and JDK1.6.0-b15

      1. Run the test case
      2. Note the LAF is Metal
      3. Note that orange icons are overimposed over the text for both Left to Right and Right To Left alignment
      4. Change the LAF from the lookAndFeel menu to CDE Motif
      5. NOte that Orange icons are displaced correctly
