In JDK 5.0, neither XPath, XPathFactory, nor XPathExpression mention about the thread safety in javadoc. Because of this, a developer like me cannot find out for sure whether I can reuse those objects from multiple threads.

This is crucial for efficient use of the XPath API, and it should be stated in javadoc.
