Java icon is not removed from windows Control Panel if windows Control Panel is opened during un-installation of jre on win98 only.
Steps to Reproduce :
--------------------
1. Install the latest version of jre from /net/jre.sfbay/p/v08/jdk/6.0/ea/b19/bundles/windows-i586
2. Leave the windows Control Panel open and uninstall jre 1.6.0
Expected result:
Java icon is removed from the windows Control Panel
Actual result:
Java icon left behind in the windows Control Panel, but not functional
"The system cannot find the registry key specified
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Invironment\1.6.0"
It's not a regression, this problem seen from 1.6.0_b01
NOTE*
The system doesn't ask for a reboot after install and uninstall.
It will only happen in the situation where a user has opened the windows Control Panel during un-installation and got removed if it's closed.
But, the more common user's scenario is to keep the windows Control Panel open to bring up Add/Remove Programs window and then un-install any programs from the system.
