When input chinese characters for active clients, a input method window is shown up, if the user want to erase all the characters in the input method window, the already committed character will be erased when you try to erase the last character in the input method window. This is a kind of annoying behavior.

Steps to reproduce the bug.
1. Enable Chinese QuanPing input method for Windows XP.
2. Run SwingSet2 demo, type some chinese characters in the textfield.
3. Then when typing some characters into the input method window, try to erase all of it.
4. You will see the committed chracter in the textfield will get erased when you try to erase the last character in the input method window.
