If I open a native gtk application with a tree in it (like the gconf-editor) on JDS and hover the tree entries they turn black. Then when I click on them I see a little turning animation. This makes a nice interactive touch.
When I use the gtk look&feel of a Swing component with a tree in it I don't get any of this. No color change when hovering and no animation. The result is that the Swing implementation of the gtk look&feel does not look as good as the native implementation.
