If I have a large JTree based on subclass of DefaultTreeModel and signal a change in individual node (using DTM.nodeChanged()), whole JTree gets repainted.
It gets repainted even if the updated node is scrolled far offscreen.
I'll attach a testing application, start using java -jar, contains the source code.
